The Race of Gentlemen 2014

Automotive film maker Adam Reynolds documented 2014 Race of Gentlemen on the shores of Wildwood, NJ. The event was hosted by the Oilers EST 1947. In true back to basic fashion this event was a blast from the past. Amazing pre World War II hot rods and motorbikes along with a cast of fine dressed racers to match.

In a racing world polluted with logos and sponsors it is welcome relief to see racing the way it was back in the day. Local car club hosts the event, hot rods and motorbikes, pretty flag girl at the starting line, some good ol boys and a 1/4 mile of beach. Chalkboard bracket and no photo finish. This is good old head to head racing!
